Airport Transfers

A taxi ride from the domestic and international airport to your hotel or the expo should cost around AUD$40.00 and take about 30 minutes, depending upon traffic conditions. All taxis accept credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, Bankcard, American Express and Diners Club.

The Airport Express Bus operates every 20 minutes and will take you to all major city hotels for half the cost of a taxi. Some hotels offer a complementary shuttle bus - check with your hotel when booking accommodation.

* General office hours are 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
* Banks are open:
o 9:30am - 4:00pm Monday to Thursday
o 9:30am - 5:00pm Friday.
* Post offices are open 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday with selected outlets in major shopping centres also open on Saturday mornings. Stamps are often available at the front desk of hotels and motels and at selected retail outlets.

Insurance
International travellers are strongly advised to take out a comprehensive medical and travel insurance policy prior to travelling.

Visas

All international visitors need a valid passport and visa for entry into Australia. Visas are generally issued free of charge from Australian Embassies and Consulates around the world (check with your local travel agent).

The easiest way for many visitors is to apply for an Electronic Visa on-line, go to : www.eta.immi.gov.au for information & application.

To facilitate your visa application, it is recommended you pre-register for the event and attach confirmation of registration with your application paperwork.
